Chanting is a form of communication, thinking is a form of communication, talking is a form of communication, and there is One listener. It’s a sum total situation. If your sum total leads you to neurosis, worry, and fear, then that’s where you are headed. But if your sum total leads you to your highest consciousness that’s where you are headed. God is really committed to delivering what you are asking for, to what your sum total energy is asking for.
I have been chanting "Ong" for years as a part of my daily spiritual practice. Recently I have decided to explore this sound a bit more. Perhaps it’s all the Star Wars movies we have been watching, that talk about "the Force." That’s what "Ong" is, "the Force!" It is life force energy. It is the sound and the name of the Divine. When chanted it gives tons of energy in my experience, and also a way to tap into your own intuitive voice, which is really the Divine flow of the Universe manifesting through you.
In these times of incredible change, turmoil, question and transformation, it is super important to hear this voice. There is a way; I don’t feel that it is exclusive to anyone. I feel that it is available when there is a strong daily spiritual practice. For this reason I recommend reading my book Original Light if you’d like to start or charge up your daily spiritual practice. I am also teaching a Mantra and Meditation class this Saturday at 1pm, to help you deepen your chanting practice, where we will focus on the sound of "Ong." To sign up for this class or other yoga classes with my husband and I during the week, please see this link.
We’ll be chanting these Mantras:
To tune in:
Then we'll chant Ong Sohung:
I love this Mantra "Ong Sohung." Please have a listen to begin to tap into the energy of "Ong."
